Win1 bonus terms: a glossary of the clauses that matter
Every bonus sits on a contract. The banner shows a number; the terms decide what that number is worth and when it can be taken away. Most players never open them, and most bonus disputes start precisely there. This page is a reading guide: it explains the clauses that appear in almost every set of casino bonus terms, what they mean for your account and what to do before you rely on them.
It is not a copy of the Win1 terms. We do not reproduce the operator's text or its current figures. Read this glossary next to the real terms, which you will find linked from each promotion on the operator's site.
Go to the offerThe core clauses
| Clause | Plain meaning | Account consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | How much must be bet before bonus money converts | Withdrawals before that point may cancel the bonus |
| Game contribution | Share of each bet credited to wagering | Some games barely move the counter |
| Maximum bet | Cap on a single stake while the bonus is active | A larger bet can void winnings |
| Maximum cashout | Cap on what bonus winnings can ever pay | The excess is removed at conversion |
| Expiry | Deadline for using the bonus and meeting wagering | Bonus and winnings expire together |
| Excluded methods | Payment methods that do not qualify | No bonus is credited for that deposit |
| One account per person | Uniqueness by person, household, device | Linked accounts can be closed |
| Irregular play | Betting patterns treated as abuse | Removal of bonus and related winnings |
The clauses players overlook
Verification. Nearly all terms state that withdrawals require identity verification and that the operator may request documents at any time. If your documents do not match the registration data, the bonus can be cancelled. Keep the profile accurate from the first day.
Payment ownership. Deposits from a method that is not in your name usually disqualify a bonus. This also covers shared family cards and wallets.
Order of balances. The terms say whether your real money or the bonus is used first. That decides whether you can withdraw your deposit by forfeiting the bonus.
Discretion clauses. Wording such as "at the operator's sole discretion" gives the operator room to interpret. It does not make every decision fair, and it is one reason to keep evidence.
How to keep a record
- Before accepting, save the offer page and the full terms as screenshots or a PDF, with the date visible.
- After accepting, screenshot the bonus section of your profile showing what was credited.
- If you ask support a question about the rules, ask by email or ticket so the answer is in writing.
- If a bonus is removed, request the clause and the specific bets the decision relies on.
With that record, a complaint is a matter of facts instead of memories. Our complaints guide explains how to escalate, and how the licence declared by the operator determines where an unresolved dispute can go.
Reading terms in the right order
A quick routine saves time. Start with eligibility, because if you do not qualify the rest is irrelevant. Then read the withdrawal conditions and the maximum cashout, which tell you the most you can get out. Next come wagering, contribution and maximum bet, which tell you what it costs to get there. Finish with expiry and the irregular-play examples. If any clause is ambiguous, ask before accepting rather than after. The worked maths is on our wagering page, and the overview of offer types is in all bonus guides.
