Refer a friend at Win1: the account rules behind the reward
A referral programme pays an existing player for bringing in a new one. On paper it is the simplest promotion of all: share a link, your friend joins, both of you receive something. In practice it is the offer that collides most often with the operator's anti-fraud systems, because the signals that link a referrer to a friend are the same signals that reveal one person behind two accounts.
We do not describe the current Win1 referral rewards, which the operator sets on its own pages. This guide explains how such programmes are normally built and what each of you must do so that the reward is paid and neither account is flagged.
Go to the offerHow a referral is tracked
Your account generates a personal link or code. When your friend registers through it, their new account is tagged with your account ID. The reward is then released when a condition defined in the terms is met, commonly a first deposit, a minimum amount of play or the completion of identity verification. Both accounts remain completely separate: different person, different email, different phone number, different payment methods. A referral never allows the two of you to share a balance, a card or a login.
Signals that can block a referral
| Signal | Why the operator cares | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Same home address | Looks like one household claiming twice | Read whether the terms allow it before sending the link |
| Same device or browser | Strong indicator of a single user | Your friend registers on their own phone or computer |
| Same network connection | Shared Wi-Fi links accounts | Mention it to support if you live together |
| Same payment method | Breaks the payment ownership rule | Each person uses methods in their own name |
| Mismatched identity | The friend's documents do not match the profile | Your friend registers with exact, real details |
A clean way to refer someone
- Make sure your own account is verified and in good standing.
- Read the referral terms: who qualifies, what the friend must do, when the reward arrives and whether there is a limit on referrals.
- Send the link privately, not as a public post if the terms forbid it.
- Let your friend register on their own device with their own details and secure the account with a unique password; our registration guide is a good checklist to pass on.
- Keep a note of the date your friend joined, in case the reward does not appear and you need to ask support.
What a referral reward is, and is not
The reward for a referral is normally credited as bonus money, free spins or a free bet, and that credit has its own terms like any other bonus: wagering, maximum bet, expiry and the usual checks before withdrawal. It is not a commission on your friend's losses, and it should never become a reason to pressure someone into gambling. Recommend a casino only to adults who already play and who understand the risks, and never to someone who is trying to cut down. If either of you wants to stop, the operator's limits and the free services listed on our responsible gambling page work regardless of any referral.
One more privacy point: the referral link identifies your account. Do not post it next to screenshots of your balance, your username or your email, and never send your friend a link to a login page; let them open the site themselves. Lookalike addresses are explained in our guide to the real address.
